10.75 oz Rock Glass

METHOD

Chill rocks glass while making. Muddle sugar and bitters in prep glass until the sugar is dissolved. Add the whiskey and several ice cubes, and stir to chill. Toss ice out of serving glass and add a splash of absinthe. Swirl around to coat the inside and pour out remaining liquid. Strain the cocktail into prepared glass and garnish with lemon peel.
